Baccarat

Baccarat is definitely a game for gentlemen and has become increasingly popular in casinos worldwide. 

It is a card game which is played between a gambler and the banker using a standard 52 deck of cards.  The aim of the game is for either one to get the closest to nine.

The banker and the player both receive 2 cards and their values must be added together.  The cards ranging from 2 to 9 are added at their face value, 10’s to Kings are 0 and Aces are valued as 1.

  When the cards are added up, the tens are ignored, for example if a player has a 5 and an 8, which together totals 13, the hand is will be counted as 3.  Each hand will always be between 0 and 9 and unlike Blackjack, players will never bust.

A third card may be dealt to the player and/or the banker, depending on the total of the previous 2 cards that were dealt. 

Wagers can be placed on a Tie between the gambler and the banker.  Should there be a Tie, then all winning wagers will be paid and wagers that were placed on the gambler or banker will be returned.
